Ho cercato di transcodificare i suoni dello scioglimento dei ghiacciai in Trentino, presenti nell’archivio digitale del progetto “Un suono in estinzione”, in un linguaggio di onomatopee che il pubblico imparerà durante la performance. Cercheremo di riprodurre questo linguaggio con la capacità vocale di ogni partecipante e di registrarlo per la memoria futura.
Description “I Can Speak” is a poetry performance presented by Marina Kazakova and Sara Maino. Loosely autobiographical, it incorporates poems composed and recited by the two authors, along with their individual monologues. It unfolds around memories revisited by the two poets, highlighting key moments in their lives that pushed them in discovering their own language — the language of poetry.
The show is dedicated to depicting the most crucial process that every person must undergo at some point—the process of “gathering” or “concentrating” one’s personality, discovering the language of your own.
This is a journey through the thorns of the contexts in which we are raised towards the stars of self-discovery.
Marina does this journey from the culture of silence, the environment of the crumbling of the Soviet regime. It is in silence that poetry, like prayer, arose in her. In contrast, Sara’s poetic journey originates from the meadow of Monte Velo in Trentino, Italy — a mythical gathering place where stories are shared in a circle every Sunday. The tales shared here connect the Trentino valleys to Sicily, Africa to Lake Garda; they traverse the ocean, reach America, and then return to a thousand meters Velo. At the same time, the meadow is encircled by mountains that obscure the horizon, creating a sense of confinement.
“I can speak” is both the voice of two artists in a challenging time, and the birth of a unique creative speech act.

Un evento aperto a tutti e a tutte le età, in cui la contaminazione fra paesaggio naturale, umano e creativo promette di aprire spazi di curiosità, piacere e interesse.
L’area picnic nei pressi del ponte della ciclabile (lato verso Calliano) ospiterà gli assaggi di vini proposti dall’associazione Centrifuga, organizzatrice del festival Vinifera.
Nel programma della manifestazione, oltre alle esibizioni di 11 musicisti, è prevista alle ore 15 la performance “Dell’Adige. Canto per fiume, voce e handpan” di Sara Maino con il musicista Marco Bandera.

Un canto per l’Adige e un omaggio al fiume, che trasporta storie, suoni, mondi e memorie, e al tempo stesso una riflessione sulla nostra relazione con l’acqua e con la scarsità delle risorse naturali: acqua proveniente da ghiacciai che stanno scomparendo. Raccogliamo noi, il suo lamento? Nell’occasione del Festival Portobeseno 2023, proponiamo una lettura-ascolto sul fiume e in riva al fiume, con una performer e un musicista. Un canto per l’acqua e una performance d’ascolto, con una preparazione guidata all’ascolto del fiume, in compagnia di uno strumento gradevolissimo e una voce femminile. In un luogo ameno, accanto al fiume, sdraiati o seduti. (munirsi di tappetini, sedie portatili o coperte).

La Festa della donna è un giorno di celebrazioni per le conquiste sociali, politiche, culturali ed economiche delle donne. Proveremo a condurre un’esplorazione nel tempo riflettendo sul rapporto della donna con il sapere e la conoscenza: un rapporto contrastato, in tutte le epoche.
Cercheremo di narrare come nel corso dei secoli le donne hanno pensato e cercando di esporre i loro pensieri. Tra miti, racconti e biografie, daremo voce anche alla maggioranza di coloro che sono rimaste invisibili. Ben sapendo che il diritto al sapere è sotto costante attacco, e in alcuni Paesi del mondo, di nuovo vietato, diviene fondamentale mantenere una coscienza lucida.
